Source: Jeff Adrien finalizing one-year deal with Pelicans
The New Orleans Pelicans are finalizing a one-year deal to pay the veteran’s minimum to veteran forward-center Jeff Adrien, a source told Yahoo Sports.
Adrien, 29, averaged 3.5 points and 4.5 rebounds for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 17 games last season. The Pelicans have been courting him throughout free agency, but Orlando, Dallas, Minnesota, New York, Charlotte and Philadelphia also showed interest, too, the source said.
The 6-foot-7, 245-pound journeyman has also played for Golden State, Houston, Charlotte and Milwaukee.
