NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Malcolm Smith scored 21 points to lead Lipscomb over Jacksonville 82-68 on Monday night in an Atlantic Sun Conference matchup.
Smith was 6 of 10 form the field and 9 of 11 from the free-throw line as the Bison (11-12, 6-5) snapped a two-game skid.
Lipscomb shot 51.9 percent from the field (27 of 52) and led 42-27 at halftime.
Jordan Burgason scored 16 points, going 4 of 7 from 3-point range, and Jacob Arnett added 15 for the Bison.
Jacksonville shot 40.6 percent from the field (26 of 64) but struggled both in getting to the free-throw line and making shots from there. The Dolphins were 8 of 19 from the foul line (42.1 percent) in their third straight loss.
