The Chicago Sky remained within one game of the WNBA's final Eastern Conference playoff berth thanks to an 86-55 victory over the Phoenix Mercury on Sunday afternoon.

The 31-point winning margin was the largest in franchise history.

Shay Murphy scored a career-high 22 points -- including 20 in the first half -- while Epiphanny Prince scored 15 points, Courtney Vandersloot had 14 and Swin Cash added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Charde Houston topped the Mercury (7-24) with 15 points while Alexis Hornbuckle added 10.

Chicago never trailed, opening a 29-point lead by halftime. For the game, the visitors scored 27 points off 19 turnovers.

The Sky (13-18) still trails New York for fourth place and the final postseason spot with three regular season games to play.

Both teams are back in action Tuesday. Chicago makes the third stop in a western swing at Seattle while Phoenix is at Los Angeles.
