One-time replacement NFL referee Lance Easley, who infamously awarded a game-winning touchdown on "Monday Night Football," will be switching to calling fair or foul in a celebrity softball game. Seattle Seahawks
cornerback Richard Sherman
, whose team benefitted when Easley signalled touchdown on a hail mary pass to wide receiver Golden Tate
-- even though the ball was intercepted by Green Bay's M.D. Jennings -- thus allowing the Seattle to beat the Packers 14-12, will serve as an umpire in a celebrity softball game on July 7.
The Facebook page for the event suggests, "Don't be surprised if a few flags are thrown."
Easley's bad call was the culmination of three weeks of poor officiating done by substitute officials during a lingering labor fight. After that game, the league quickly settled with the real officials, who returned for Week 4.
