Recommendation:Â Talk about the price of poker going up, and we can't imagine the Nashville brass being too thrilled with the Flyers organization Wednesday evening. The Preds may just go out and match that after losing Ryan Suter to free agency, as losing their other stud blueliner in the same offseason would be a pretty devastating hit. Then again, they could just punt and take a step back into rebuilding the team, as losing a restricted free agent at that salary would mean numerous high-round picks as compensation.
Update:Â The Flyers have signed Weber to a 14-year offer sheet worth upwards of $100 million, according to TSN.ca. The Predators have seven days to match the offer if they wish to retain Weber's services.
