Samir Handanovic is set to make his Inter debut on Sunday, as the Nerazzurri travel to Torino. The Slovenian goalkeeper has recovered from knee surgery he underwent over the summer, and is fit to make his first appearance for Andrea Stramaccioni's side.

Elsewhere, the Milanese giant is expected to name Walter Samuel at center back in place of Matias Silvestre, alongside Javier Zanetti, Andrea Ranocchia and Yuto Nagatomo. In midfield, Fredy Guarin and Walter Gargano will keep their places in the starting XI, while Esteban Cambiasso is to replace Alvaro Pereira after the 3-1 loss to Roma.

Antonio Cassano and Diego Milito will start up front, with Wesley Sneijder playing in the trequartista role.

For the home side, it should name a relatively unchanged team from the one that beat Pescara 3-0 before the international break. Jean-Francois Gillet will keep his place in goal - behind a defence of Matteo Darmain, Kamil Glik, Angelo Ogbonna and Salvatore Masiello.

Matteo Brighi and Alessandro Gazzi will anchor the midfield, with Rolando Bianchi and Alessandro Sgrigna providing the focal point in attack. The one change Giampiero Ventura could make will be to bring Giuseppe Vives in for Mario Santana on the wing.

      DID YOU KNOW?

    • Torino has lost 61 times against Inter, more than any other current Serie A side.

    • In the 136 meetings between the two, Il Toro have won 32 and drawn 43.

    • In fact, their last win against the San Siro side came in February 1994 in a 2-0 home win.

    • Torino, along with Lazio, is the only team yet to conceded a goal this term in Serie A. It is also the only team in Europe's top leagues not to have a shot on target against them.

    • Inter has conceded two or more goals in four of its last five games.

    • Andrea Stramaccioni's side have won its last eight games at Stadio Olimpico.

    • Wesley Sneijder (pictured right) has created the most goalscoring chances in Italy's top-flight this term.
