Inter remains without a number of first-team players as it welcomes the Delfini to San Siro. Dejan Stankovic remains on the sidelines, while Joel Obi and Yuto Nagatomo are also fighting their way back to fitness.

On the suspension front, defensive duo Juan Jesus and Andrea Ranocchia will both miss the contest, the former due to his red card in the 3-0 humbling at the hands of Udinese last weekend.

Wesley Sneijder's future remains up in the air, with Galatasaray seemingly on the brink of ending the midfielder's exile, as they look to take him to Turkey in the current transfer window.

For the visitors, who are currently four points clear of the drop zone, Uros Cosic and Simone Romagnoli will both sit out the match, while Eugenio Togni is suspended.

  DID YOU KNOW?

  • Inter has only managed one victory in its last four matches, a 2-0 Coppa Italia triumph over Verona before Christmas.

  • Pescara, by comparison, is in a decent run of form, collecting victories in three of its last four league outings, including a 2-0 victory over Fiorentina last weekend.

  • In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Inter collected a 3-0 victory courtesy of goals from Sneijder, Diego Milito and Philippe Coutinho.

  • Milito is the Nerazzurri's top goalscorer this season with eight goals. In comparison, Pescara's leading marksmen are Vladimir Weiss and Mervan Celik, both on three goals apiece.
