Last season Chuck Pagano and some other coaches of the Indianapolis Colts broke out t-shirts with the Lombardi Trophy on them with the headline of “decide” beneath it. Well, after a disappointing season of 8-8 for some reason Ryan Grigson and Pagano brought back shirts.

The meaning however is completely different this season.

I am all for the Colts taking a different approach to this season, but to say that you’re humble kind of takes away from the fact that you are humble.

Earlier today Pagano told the media that he just wants his player to get better. Simple enough right? Then here is a crazy, out of this world idea. Just wear a normal practice shirt.

This is the NFL. Where men play. This is not some high school team that wants some cool slogan to go with their season. All 31 other teams want the same thing. To bring home the Super Bowl.

And while many other teams realistically do not have that chance, the Colts at least have Andrew Luck and a powerful offense.

Look, Ryan and Chuck. Do us a favor. Take the shirts off and just go about your business. All that matters right now is that the players do in fact get better each and every day.

Trim the roster down to 53 and lets get this season started and see the cajones the Colts really have on opening weekend.
