Marshawn Lynch had a big day for Seattle Seahawks, leading the way to a one-sided victory for the Seahawks over the Vikings, 41-20, at home.
Russell Wilson found the end zone for two touchdowns against the Vikings on 13 of 18 passing for 230 yards and no interceptions. On the Vikings side, Christian Ponder did not fare as well on the day, going 13 of 22 with 129 yards passing, one touchdown, two picks and one fumble.
Lynch was a standout player for the Seahawks, rushing for 54 yards on 17 attempts with two touchdowns in addition to two receptions for 9 yards and another score. Doug Baldwin caught two passes for 63 yards with a touchdown.
The Seattle defense was the deciding factor in the victory, allowing 132 yards rushing and 207 passing while bringing back one interception for a touchdown. They brought down Ponder for two sacks.
Vikings wide receiver Jarius Wright provided some spark with 69 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Tight end John Carlson had a good game as well with 69 receiving yards.
The Seahawks host the Saints (8-2) next week while the Vikings head to Green Bay to face the Packers (5-5).
