Seahawks release waiver-eligible DL Howard

It was one and done for defensive lineman Jaye Howard, who was released Saturday by the Seattle Seahawks after just one season, according to ProFootballTalk.com.

A fourth-round pick in the 2012 draft, the 6-3, 301-pound Howard played just two games with Seattle and never really made the kind of impact that Seahawks coaches had hoped for.

Howard is eligible for waivers, which means another team can pick up the now former Seahawks player.
