Breaking news:

Seahawks will work out four veteran QB's seeking a No. 2

National Football Post

The Seattle Seahawks added Josh Portis to the mix last week after trading Matt Flynn.

Now, they’re going to look at a foursome of experienced candidates to be the backup to Russell Wilson this season.

John Boyle of the Everett Herald reports that Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn, former first-round draft picks, along with Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen will all work out for the team this week. Leinart, of course, played for Seahawks coach Pete Carroll at USC. The Seahawks made some efforts to pursue him in 2011 but he signed with the Houston Texans.

The report indicates the athletic ability of Wallace and Thigpen might make them more likely additions.
