The New Orleans defense had no answer for Russell Wilson as he led the way to a one-sided victory for the Seahawks over the Saints, 34-7, at home.
Wilson tore apart the Saints for three scores on 22 of 30 passing for 310 yards and no interceptions. For the Saints, Drew Brees could not keep pace, going 23 of 38 with 147 yards passing, one touchdown and one fumble.
Marshawn Lynch had a tough game, rushing for 45 yards on 16 attempts in addition to three receptions for 12 yards. Zach Miller was a top receiver, catching five balls for 86 yards with a touchdown.
The Seattle defense was the deciding factor in the victory, limiting the Saints to 44 yards rushing and 147 passing. They were able to get to Brees for one sack.
Saints tight end Jimmy Graham provided some spark with 42 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Seahawks head to San Francisco next week to face off with the 49ers (8-4) while the Saints will play host to the Panthers (9-3).
