Scott Baker: (Elbow) Shut Down For A Month

Rotowire.com
Update: Baker (elbow) has been shut down for four-to-six weeks, ESPN Chicago reports.

Recommendation: Baker won't throw for at least a month after a orthopedic doctor recommended Baker rest the arm to allow the inflammation in his elbow to dissipate. Tommy John surgery is usually a 12-to-18 month recovery process, and with Baker first having the surgery last April, it may not be until midseason or later before he makes his return. He may be worth stashing in very deep mixed leagues or NL-only leagues, but can probably be ignored in shallower formats at this point.
