The five personal fouls Thursday night gives the Lions eight personal foul penalties in two preseason games, as they had three in their opening loss to Cleveland.
All those players stayed in, but Young was removed from the game.
“We didn’t want any more personal fouls,” Schwartz told the Detroit Free Press. “We had enough of it. We had enough of it after two.”
It will be interesting now to see if the league office has had enough of it as well, as some of Lions players will likely find themselves a little lighter in the wallet for their actions.
