STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) Jaime Serna scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, and UC Santa Barbara beat Pacific 56-53 on Saturday after relinquishing a 13-point second-half lead.
Travis Fulton's 3-pointer with 54 seconds remaining tied the game 51-all and capped a 9-3 run that helped bring Pacific (7-13, 3-5 Big West) back from a 38-23 deficit midway through the second half.
Kyle Boswell answered with a 3-pointer for Santa Barbara (11-7, 6-2) with 29 seconds remaining and the Gauchos held on for their fourth win in five games.
Orlando Johnson scored 13 points and James Nunnally had 11 points and seven rebounds for Santa Barbara.
Lorenzo McCloud led Pacific with 20 points and eight rebounds.
The Tigers had their first winning streak of the season stopped at two games.
