Excerpts from an interview with convicted child sex offender Jerry Sandusky as well as taped Sandusky phone conversations are scheduled to air on NBC's "Today" show on Monday.

The Harrisburg Patriot-News reported that John Zielger, who is working on a documentary titled "Framing Paterno," will be on the show to discuss information drawn from an in-person visit, multiple recorded telephone calls and numerous letters.

Meanwhile, portions of the interview conducted with Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, will also be shown.

"He'll describe in his own words what he says happened on the Penn State campus," Matt Lauer said, according to the Washington Post.

Sandusky will also say what he thinks of whistleblower Mike McQueary and late head coach Joe Paterno, according to the Patriot-News.

Sandusky, 69, was convicted last June on charges that he abused 10 boys over a time span dating back to 1994. He did not testify at his trial.
