Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has tendered his resignation, Goal Spain reports.
Rosell and Barca are currently under investigation by a Spanish high court for the alleged misappropriation of funds from the transfer of Neymar from Santos last summer.
Barca vice presidents Josep Maria Bartomeu and Javier Faus met with Rosell at his home this morning and will join the Barca president at a meeting later Thursday, along with deputy president Joanjo Castillo, general director Antoni Rossich and communications director Albert Montagut.
But the reunion will merely be to discuss plans for the future, with the 49-year-old's mind already made up. Rosell has already transmitted his decision to his closest colleagues and the Barca board will discuss strategy for the future at the meeting Thursday.
The president, whose current deal runs until 2016, took charge at Camp Nou in 2010. He will be replaced by Bartomeu until the next election.
