Impact eliminated from CONCACAF Champions League

The San Jose Earthquakes came back after giving up two goals to draw 2-2 at home with the Montreal Impact.

Justin Mapp started off the scoring for the visitors in the 24th minute, scoring a powerful strike from outside the box.

The midfielder doubled his tally just after halftime, finishing Andrew Wenger's assist from close range in the 47th minute.

Adam Jann pulled one back for the Quakes just before the hour mark, bundling in a pass from Sam Cronin in the 59th minute in a crowded penalty area.

The Earthquakes got a late equalizer in what has become their trademark style. This time it was Cronin who scored in stoppage time, taking Chris Wondolowski's headed pass and shooting low to equalize.
