STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) -- Avry Holmes finished with 18 points and eight assists, both career highs, as San Francisco pulled away from Pacific in overtime for an 81-72 win Thursday night.
USF, which came into the game ranked tenth in the WCC in opponent's field goal percentage (46.4 percent) outscored Pacific 18-9 in the extra frame and allowed the Tigers to shoot just 32 percent (18 of 57) from the field.
USF and Pacific have played 95 times, with Pacific now holding a 60-35 advantage, dating back to the 1911-12 season.
