Frank Gore established the ground game, paving the way to a solid win for the 49ers against the Cardinals, 32-20, at home.
Colin Kaepernick accounted for two scores against the Cardinals on 16 of 29 passing for 252 yards, one pick and one fumble. Carson Palmer went 25 of 41 with 298 yards passing, two touchdowns and two picks for the Cardinals.
Gore rushed for 101 yards on 25 carries. Vernon Davis was a highlight, pulling in eight balls for 180 yards with two touchdowns.
The San Francisco defense surrendered 109 yards rushing and 294 passing. They brought down Palmer for one sack.
Finally, Phil Dawson was perfect, making all three of the field goals he attempted.
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald provided some spark with 117 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Andre Ellington also gave a strong effort with 56 rushing yards, 36 receiving and one touchdown.
Next week, the 49ers travel to Nashville to face the Titans (3-3) while the Cardinals are at home against the Seahawks (5-1).
