SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- San Diego State used a 22-point fourth quarter to score a come-from-behind, 34-30 win over San Jose State Saturday night.
Trailing 23-12 going into the final period, the Aztecs got a 34-yard touchdown run from Donnel Pumphrey and a two-point conversion pass from Quinn Kaehler to Dylan Denso to cut the lead San Jose State lead to three, 23-20.
Adam Roberts bulled in from the 1 and Adam Muerma scored his second touchdown of the game on a 12-yard run to give the Aztecs (5-4, 4-1 Mountain West) the win.
Kaehler was 18 of 31 for 235 yards and two touchdowns to lead San Diego State.
Fales was 27 of 48 for 301 yards and three TDs for the Spartans.
