Despite the loss, Marvin Williams scored 19 points off the bench for Utah on 7-13 shooting, including 3-6 from behind the arc. Derrick Favors chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds and Gordon Hayward finished with 13 points and 5 assists.
The Mavericks combined an eFG% of 55.3% with 41.2% 3-point shooting. They are 4-1 this year when registering marks above 55% and 40% in those respective statistics. The Jazz, on the other hand, are winless (0-3) when allowing opponents to hit those marks.
