HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) -- Brian Bell threw four touchdowns and added another on the ground as Sam Houston State dominated Incarnate Word 52-21 Saturday night.

Incarnate Word (2-2) took a 14-10 lead with 13:59 remaining in the first half when Johnny Sessions scored on a 1-yard touchdown run, but Sam Houston rattled off 35 unanswered points, including touchdown runs of 7 and 41-yards by Timothy Flanders, to pull away for good.

Flanders, who finished with 157 yards rushing on just 15 carries, became the all-time leading rusher in Southland Conference history. He has now rushed for 4,720 career yards, surpassing Claude Mathis of Southwest Texas, who ran for 4,694 yards from 1994-97.

The Bearkats are averaging 52.3 points per game, tops in the FCS.
