The Saints signed CB Elbert Mack to a one-year contract, keeping the corner in the NFC South.

Mack spent the first four seasons of his career with the Buccaneers. In 2011, he played in 16 games with one start and made 29 tackles, six passes defensed and two interceptions. Mack returned a pick 40 yards for a touchdown.

In four seasons, Mack has appeared in 58 games, recording 11 passes defensed and five interceptions.

The Saints also announced that veteran QB Luke McCown, who started two games for the Jaguars last season, will be with the team in minicamp on a tryout basis.
