Without a doubt, the New Orleans Saints have one of the most prolific offenses in the NFL. Drew Brees is making a chase for Peyton Manning’s records, while Brandin Cooks and Mark Ingram figure to have career-years in 2016.

But some will argue that other teams have better quarterbacks, which can be debatable. Surely, many teams also have better running backs than Ingram, and few have a better wideout than Brandin Cooks.

Take into account the talent level that the Saints offensive trio has, and it’s sure to stump most in the NFL. Cover32’s Jacob Infante ranked all 32 QB-WR-RB trios, and the Saints came in at eighth. That was ahead of the New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks, so a nice ranking indeed.

One thing Saints fans won’t like is that Infante put the Atlanta Falcons ahead of them by two spots. Hard to disagree that Cooks has reached Julio Jones’ level, and that Ingram (yet to hit 1,000 rushing yards in a season,) is better than Devonta Freeman.

No doubt the Saints offensive trio is intact to dominate once again, but it really doesn’t matter where you rank these guys. All that the Saints care about is making the playoffs, and you know what you’re getting from their “big three.”

Now, if that defense could just not give up 30 points a game…
