Chad Jones, the Giants' third-round pick in 2010, has not yet been cleared to participate in football drills. Jones, who was involved in a serious car crash just a couple of months after being selected by the Giants, has been working hard to rehab from injuries that nearly cost him one of his legs. He has been working out with his teammates at the Timex Performance Center, where he took part in the weight and conditioning part of the off-season workouts. However, last month General Manager Jerry Reese expressed doubt as to whether Jones would be able to contribute in any way this year on the football field. "If you see him on the field, you'll see him rehabbing more than in drills with the players during OTAs and things like that," Reese said. "Just me personally, I think he still has a ways to go before he gets out there and plays in the National Football League."
