Kljestan scores for Anderlecht in Champions League loss

U.S. international Sacha Kljestan continued his outstanding form on Wednesday, scoring Anderlecht's third goal in a 3-0 away win at KV Oostende in Belgian league play.

The goal came in the 73rd minute off a close-range rebound, and sealed the win for the two-time defending champions, who sit in fifth place in the 2013-14 season.

Kljestan scored for the second game in a row, and the goal was his sixth in 12 league games this season, already a career high for the midfielder. The 28-year-old set his previous career high last season with four goals.

Kljestan has made five appearances for the U.S. national team in 2013, including a substitute role against Jamaica and start at Panama in the team's final two Hexagonal matches earlier this month.
