Ryan Tannehill hoping for big leap this year
Entering his third season in the NFL, Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill is aware of the leap he needs to make to take his team to the next level.
Miami just missed out on the postseason a year ago at 8-8, with the offense looking stale down the stretch. After adding Mike Wallace last offseason to help the offense, Tannehill still had some issues at times.
But it appears to be something he's cognizant of this offseason.
"I have to make a big jump, I'm aware of that," Tannehill told ESPN.com. "I’m putting in the work, putting in the time to get myself physically ready, mentally ready and learn this new offense that we’re going with this year. So there is still work to be done"
Tannehill finished the 2013 season with 3,913 yards, 24 touchdowns and 17 interceptions.
