Recommendation: Kesler was said to be "slightly ahead" of schedule by Canucks general manager Mike Gillis last week, but that is not the case according to the player's agent, who added, “He’s not ahead of schedule and there’s no rushing him back. He’s on course to return in December and he’s not returning until he’s 100 per cent. Don’t expect him until December.” Being so, Kesler may be ready for the start of the season, should it be pushed back due to a lockout situation, but still, Kesler faces an uphill battle to return to form.
