Ryan Jones: (Eye) Expected To Play Saturday

Update: Jones (eye) is expected to play Saturday against the Coyotes, Dan Tencer of the Oilers' Radio Network reports.

Recommendation: An eye injury, suffered after being hit in the face with a puck during a pickup game, has prevented Jones from playing yet this season. It looks like that will change Saturday, as coach Ralph Krueger said to expect Jones, who recorded 33 points (17G, 16A) in 79 games last year, to be in action. He'll probably be eased back into the rotation, but Jones should quickly work himself into significant minutes.
