The #Blazers have signed 6-4 PG Darius Morris to a nonguaranteed training camp roster spot, a league source tells The Oregonian.— Joe Freeman (@BlazerFreeman) August 21, 2014
Morris has played three years in the NBA, 94 games total. He spent his first two seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers before shuttling between the Philadelphia 76'ers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Memphis Grizzlies last year.
Morris' greatest assets are size and length. He's not been able to put an impressive game behind his impressive frame. His career numbers are hardly sterling: 40% from the field, 35% from the three-point arc, and a 1.6/1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Morris averaged 15 points on 53% shooting with 6 assists and 3 turnovers per game as a senior at the University of Michigan.
