The NFL draft names with the biggest fantasy impact

The first round of the 2017 NFL Draft provided plenty of surprises and picks that should impact fantasy drafts this season. Eight of the first 12 choices were either quarterbacks, running backs or receivers. While the QBs are in development mode, there are RBs and WRs to get excited about. Brad Evans and Brandon Funston examine their favorite rookies to target in fantasy drafts.

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis: The rookie should immediately become a contributor for fantasy owners. He has the potential to be a No. 2 fantasy receiver in 12-team leagues as he’ll quickly become Marcus Mariota’s favorite target.

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette: He’s a perfect fit for Jacksonville’s ball-control offense. In fantasy, volume means everything and he has the potential to see 300 touches as a rookie if he stays healthy. He could be this year’s version of Ezekiel Elliot.

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey: He can run the ball, catch and be a special teams menace. He’ll be more valuable than people expect because of his versatility and the Panthers’ need for speed.
