Cleveland Browns rookie outside linebacker Barkevious Mingo was released from a hospital Saturday.
Mingo was hospitalized for two nights because of bruised lung he sustained during Thursday's preseason game against the Detroit Lions.
It is not known if he will be able to play during the remainder of the preseason but should be ready for the regular season opener Sept. 8 against the Miami Dolphins.
Mingo is scheduled to have X-rays on Monday, at which point a more specific prognosis will be made.
Mingo was the No. 6 pick in the draft.
