Rodgers-Cromartie lands in Denver

Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie agreed to a one-year deal with the Denver Broncos late Wednesday.

According to ESPN.com, the contract is similar to the one signed by Tracy Porter in 2012, when he left New Orleans to join the Broncos on a one-year deal and returned to free agency Tuesday.

Rodgers-Cromartie, a former first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, spent the past two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Denver was busy Wednesday, signing defensive tackle Terrance Knighton and linebacker Stewart Bradley along with the headline-grabbing acquisition of slot receiver Wes Welker.
