Rockies 7, Diamondbacks 5

PHOENIX -- DJ LeMahieu singled in the go-ahead run and Wilin Rosario and Charlie Blackmon drove in two runs apiece in a five-run seventh inning to lift the Colorado Rockies to a 7-5 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field on Friday.

Corey Dickerson opened the seventh off Will Harris (3-1) with a double down the right-field line on a pitch that appeared to bounce in front of the plate before LeMahieu singled to break a 2-2 tie.

Rosario hit a two-run double following a single by Troy Tulowitzki, and Blackmon tripled off the right-field fence off Chaz Roe after a walk to Todd Helton, making it 7-2.

Miguel Montero hit a three-run home run with two outs in the ninth inning off Manny Corpas, but Rex Brothers entered to get the final out and his 17th save.

Tulowitzki had three singles and scored twice and Dickerson had three runs and scored once.

National League batting leader Michael Cuddyer had two hits and scored twice, raising his batting average to .335. He is 20-for-43 in September.

Josh Outman (3-0) gave up one hit in 1 1-3 innings to get the victory for the Rockies (68-80), who had lost five of their last six.

Eric Chavez had a sacrifice fly and also walked and scored for Arizona (73-73), which fell to .500. The Diamondback have lost four of their last five.

Arizona starter Brandon McCarthy gave up 11 hits but only two runs in six innings.

The D-backs received eight walks, left 11 on base and hit into two double plays.

NOTES: McCarthy's single in the fourth inning was his first major league hit. It came on his 31st at-bat this season and the 40th at-bat of an eight-year career, most of which was spent in the American League until 2013. ... Arizona RF Gerardo Parra recorded his major-league-high 16th outfield assist when he threw behind Blackmon rounding second base after Jordan Pacheco's single in the sixth inning. ... An MRI on Colorado LHP Jorge De La Rosa (left thumb) revealed no structural damage, but manager Walt Weiss said De La Rosa felt soreness in a bullpen session Friday and might be pushed back from his next scheduled start Monday against the St. Louis Cardinals. ... Arizona LHP Wade Miley is 5-0 with a 2.52 ERA in eight career appearances against Colorado entering his Saturday start against the Rockies. ... Rockies RHP Roy Oswalt is set to make his first start since facing Arizona on July 7 when he meets the Diamondbacks again Saturday. Oswalt suffered a hamstring injury in the last meeting and did not return until Sept. 6.
