In less than three months, the NCAA Selection Committee will sit down and make the final decisions on which the national seeds, regional hosts and postseason at-large teams will be.

It's never too early to predict what the committee would do if the season ended today, though.

Though Virginia is the nation's top-ranked team in the latest Rivals Top 25, the Cavaliers are the No. 2 national seed in our regional projections. Arizona State, meanwhile, is the top national seed with a perfect 20-0 record and a resume that includes a 10-0 record against top 50 RPI teams.

The other national seeds include No. 3 UCLA, No. 4 Florida, No. 5 Texas, No. 6 Clemson, No. 7 Louisville and No. 8 Florida State.

The national seeds are paired with eight other regional hosts. The hosts include Oklahoma, Mississippi, Texas A&M, TCU, Oregon State, Coastal Carolina, LSU and Alabama.

There still much season to be played, but several teams already are in great shape when it comes to their postseason resumes.
