Update: Porcello could be in danger of not being on the Tigers initial playoff roster, the Detroit News reports.
Recommendation: Tigers manager Jim Leyland has already said he'll only have 11 pitchers on his postseason roster and going up against a left-handed heavy Athletics' lineup in the first round means a lefty reliever may be added over Porcello. Even if Porcello does end up making the postseason roster, it's unlikely he'll be in the mix for any starts, as Justin Verlander, Doug Fister, Max Scherzer and Anibal Sanchez will get the nods there.
