    Richardson status still uncertain

Trent Richardson is still not practicing for the Cleveland Browns and at least one veteran scribe on the beat doesn't believe the rookie will play in the opener against Philadelphia.

Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com casts doubt on whether the fourth overall pick will be in uniform and running the football due to having his knee scoped in preseason.

Richardson is the key for the rebuilding Browns on offense, because Cleveland will likely need a strong running game to take the pressure off fellow rookie, starting quarterback Brandon Weeden.
