Revenge Exclusive: 'Jesus' Is Hamptons-Bound

Holy smokes, talk about a casting coup.

Revenge has tapped Diogo Morgado — aka Jesus Christ in History Channel’s smash hit miniseries The Bible — to guest-star in the Sept. 29 Season 3 premiere, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Morgado will play a distinguished and handsome doctor by the name of Dr. Jorge Velez. (What, pray tell, does Revenge need an MD for? Perhaps Ashley Madekwe is getting her wish?)

The Portuguese actor joins a Season 3 guest cast that also includes Pan Am‘s Karine Vanasse (as a businesswoman from Daniel’s past), and Smallville‘s Justin Hartley (as Victoria’s long-lost son).
