The defending champion and three of this season's All-Stars highlight the field for the NBA's Sprite Slam Dunk contest.

The league announced Thursday night that Toronto Raptors guard Terrence Ross would defend his title against a field that features Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, Indiana Pacers forward Paul George and Washington Wizards guard John Wall.

The other participants are Sacramento Kings guard Ben McLemore and Golden State Warriors forward Harrison Barnes.

Ross won the event last year in Houston. George is the only other one of the six who previously participated in the dunk competition. A second-year player out of the University of Washington, the 6-foot-6 Ross is averaging 10.2 points and 3.3 rebounds per game this season.

In addition to the dunk contest, the NBA revealed the fields for the other All-Star Saturday Night festivities to be held at the New Orleans Arena on Feb. 15.

The Sears Shooting Stars competition will feature two father-son teams: former NBA star Dell Curry and Golden State Warriors All-Star guard Stephen Curry, and former star Tim Hardaway Sr. and New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. Also in the field is Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Kevin Durant.

The shooting contest includes four teams: the Currys and Becky Hammon of the WNBA's San Antonio Stars; the Hardaways and WNBA Rookie of the Year Elena Delle Donne of the WNBA's Chicago Sky; Durant, Hall of Famer Karl Malone and the Skylar Diggins of the WNBA's Tulsa Shock; and Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh, Hall of Famer Dominique Wilkins and Swin Cash of the Sky.

Lillard will defend his championship in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge. The other competitors will be Raptors All-Star guard DeMar DeRozan, Milwaukee Bucks guard Giannis Antetokounmpo, Philadelphia 76ers guard Michael Carter-Williams, Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo, Utah Jazz guard Trey Burke, Thunder guard Reggie Jackson and Phoenix Suns guard Goran Dragic.

The contest measures the players' dribbling, passing and shooting acumen.

Curry and Lillard lead the field for the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. They will compete against Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star forward Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star guard Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets All-Star guard Joe Johnson, Wizards guard Bradley Beal, San Antonio Spurs guard Marco Beinelli and Orlando Magic guard Arron Afflalo.
