The Patriots will bring back WR Donté Stallworth, according to multiple reports.
Stallworth was released on Aug. 27 after spending training camp with the Pats. He reportedly was in for a workout with the team last week.
In 2011, Stallworth had 22 catches for 309 yards and two scores for the Redskins. He spent the 2007 season in Foxborough, catching 46 passes for 697 yards and three scores.
Stallworth adds depth at the position, as WR Julian Edelman was seen on crutches following Sunday’s win over the Dolphins because of a foot injury.
