The Patriots brought back veteran DT Gerard Warren, Comcast SportsNet New England first reported.
Warren, who will be 34 next season, spent the past two seasons in New England. In 2011, he played in 12 games in a reserve role, recording 12 tackles and one sack. In 2010, he had 10 starts and played in every game, recording 3½ sacks.
Warren began his career in 2001 with the Browns. He has also played for the Broncos and Raiders in his career. He adds depth to the Patriots’ defensive line.
