Reports: Mayo agrees to $24 million deal with Bucks

Free agent guard O.J. Mayo has reached agreement with the Milwaukee Bucks on a three-year, $24 million contract, multiple media outlets reported Friday.

Mayo averaged 15.3 points and 4.4 assists in his only season with the Dallas Mavericks.

Mayo is expected to become the Bucks starting shooting guard, replacing Monta Ellis, who opted out of the final year of his contract and rejected the Bucks' two-year extension offer.

Mayo, 25, opted out of the second year of his contract with the Mavericks.

Mayo and the Bucks cannot sign the deal until Wednesday.
