The SportsXchange

The New York Yankees and closer Mariano Rivera have agreed to a contract for the 2013 season, according to CBSSports.com.

The one-year deal will pay Rivera $10 million and includes incentives to increase that figure.

Rivera, 43, pitched in nine games last season before tearing his ACL in May. The right-hander is the all-time saves leader with 608 saves.
