Two Oklahoma players -- wide receiver Jalen Saunders and cornerback Cortez Johnson -- were arrested early Sunday morning on a charge of possession of marijuana, ESPN.com reported.
The school has not yet commented on Sanders' status for the Sooners' bowl game.
A transfer from Fresno State, Saunders played in only eight games, but is still third on the team in receptions (53) and receiving yards (766). He leads the team in those categories over that eight-game span to end the regular season.
Johnson, a transfer from Arizona, is sitting out the season as a transfer.
