The Steelers released OG Chris Kemoeatu, according to Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Kemoeatu, a seventh-year veteran, played in 13 games with eight starts last season. He also started the team's playoff loss to the Broncos. Kemoeatu started all 15 games in which he played in 2010 and has 53 career starts with Pittsburgh.
The Steelers will reportedly cut Aaron Smith and already announced the pending release of WR Hines Ward. Multiple players have had their contracts restructured as the team tries to free up salary cap space.
