Even though the New York Jets had said earlier this off-season they would not be a part of HBO's "Hard Knocks" again in 2012, rumors and reports continued to fly that the Jets would make a return engagement there.
But the Jets, who appeared on the show in 2010, will not be back for an encore performance, says the New York Daily News. That means no open cameras and mics for the Mark Sanchez-Tim Tebow battle or for any potential Darrelle Revis holdout or the many Rex Ryan F-bomb detonations.
Last year, "Hard Knocks" was not shown due to the short time in camps and to prepare because of the lockout.
This year, the Atlanta Falcons have already turned down the series.
