Veteran cornerback Aaron Ross is returning to the New York Giants after spending one season with Jacksonville. Ross, 30, will sign with the Giants, USA Today reported Wednesday, upon successfully completing a physical. The 20th overall draft pick by the Giants in 2007, Ross left New York after the 2011 season and signed a three-yar, $9.75 million contract with the Jaguars. He struggled in coverage last season in Jacksonville and was benched twice. It's likely that Ross, a former starter for the Giants, will play a reserve role and in special packages in New York next season.
