DeAngelo Hall's dispute with an official proved costly.
The Washington Redskins cornerback was ejected from the Oct. 28 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported Wednesday that Hall received a $30,000 fine from the league.
According to CBSSports.com, Hall maintained that the official verbally abused him during the argument that led to the ejection. In a video of the incident, Hall, with his helmet off, argues face-to-face with a backpedalling head linesman, then points his finger in the official's face before walking away.
Referring to video, Hall said previously, "It looks like I'm just out there giving him a piece of my mind and he's smiling and walks away. And that's not the case at all. He's dishing it out just as much as I'm dishing it out."
Washington lost the game to Pittsburgh, 27-12.
