The St. Louis Rams will release safety Quinin Mikell on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday night. Mikell started all 16 games each of the past two seasons for the Rams, and he had a career-high 101 tackles in 2012. Pro Football Talk reported that the move will save the Rams $3 million in salary cap space. Mikell, 32, was scheduled to make $6 million next season.
